IND vs AUS: Kohli said - we don't have much all-rounder, can't get pandya bowling

Team India caption Virat Kohli said after the first ODI defeat against Australia that the balance of the Team is being affected due to Hardik Pandya not being fit for bowling.

Team India's caption Virat Kohli has questioned his team attitude after the first ODI defeat against Australia. He said that the balance of the team is being affected due to Hardik Pandya not being fit for bowling because he does not have much all-rounder.

India started their tour of Australia in a disappointing manner, losing by 66 runs in the first ODI. Kohli said after the match, "everyone needs to show their passion in the entire 50 over. Maybe after a long time we played 50 over in Cricket, which can affect the player standing in the feild. But we have played so much ODI cricket that we know how to deal with it."

He said, "I think the player" expression after 25 over on the field were not good. This is a disappointing thing. If you do not take advantage of the chances against the top level rival Team, then they will harm you and this is what happened today.

Hardik Pandya is not fit for bowling right now, so Kohli said that this is affecting the balance of the team. He said, "we have to find a way to get the improvised bowlers to get some overs. Unfortunately a player like Hardik is not yet ready to bowl, we have to accept, we do not have any other all-round option at the Team."

He said, This thing needs attention, it is an important part of balance of any Team. Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell are putting on some over for australia, which helped team.

Kohli said that his bowlers could not take wickets at regular intervals, which helped australia to score big. He said, "wickets are the most important factor in the winning matches, and we could not do the same, as well as we could not take advantage of the pressure we had created initially with some mistake on the field."

Asked the Team's performance was affected after they arrived in Australia from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), they said that this is not an excuse. He said, "I got a lot of time for preparation. No excuse can be made for this.
